Duke’s Nourish International chapter, a non-profit student organization (http://www.nourishinternational.org), is hosting its first annual “Nourish International Duke Durham Ben & Jerry’s Memorial Global Poverty Awareness Pro-Am Ice Cream FUN RUN Race for Eradicating Poverty Engaging Students Empowering Communities” on Saturday April 18th at 11am to raise money for our summer project in Guanajuato, Mexico!

Fun Run Rules:
The Fun Run will involve running from Duke’s West Campus to East Campus, eating a pint of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream (flavor or your choice), and then making a loop around East. You can sign up as an individual or as a team of three and the first place finisher in each category will receive a prize!  In order to be eligible for these prizes, you must complete the entire race, including their pint of ice cream. Completion is definitely not required for participation and families are encouraged to participate. Participants are also encouraged to wear costumes; the participant with the best costume will also win a prize!

Registration can be done online – the cost for individuals is $20 and the cost for a team of three is $45 (includes a free t-shirt!). The website is www.nourishinternational.org/funrun

If you have any questions or would like to pay by cash or check, please contact Neelima at nn12@duke.edu.
