Duke Habitat can help make it happen!  This December, we’re partnering with Little Hands Bakery to deliver cookie care packages to students – and all proceeds go to help Habitat for Humanity build homes in the local community. The cookies are homemade by local youth and their parents, and will be hand-delivered during Finals week to campus dorms/apartments and off-campus housing. Forward the order form to your parents so they can send a “little hand” – both to you and to Durham!  They can order two dozen, one dozen, or a single cookie, include a personal message, and specify which day during Finals Week they would like the package delivered. Payment should be in the form of a check made out to “Habitat of Durham” with “Duke Care Package” in the memo line. Checks and order forms should be mailed by November 26th to:

Alpha Phi is hosting its inaugural RED DRESS GALA on Saturday Oct 24th, 2009 at the Washington Duke Inn and Golf Cub.  It is a fundraiser to support Women’s Cardiac Care.  The Gala will include a dinner, live and silent auction, guest speakers, and live performances.  It is a great place to have a nice dinner with family or friends AND support a good cause.  Tickets are $75 per person and will be sold Oct 19-22rd on the Plaza from 11am - 5pm.
