Duke Arts Weekend
November 6 – 7, 2009

All students are invited to join in the first ever Duke Arts Weekend!  The weekend will include an opportunity to meet and network with alumni who contribute to the arts in a variety of ways from independently creating to supporting the business of the arts or arts-related legal issues.  An art exhibition will be located at the Bryan Center from 2:00 p.m. on Friday through Saturday evening.  Various student performances will also be featured throughout the weekend.

Twenty-five alumni are returning to campus to represent the TV/Film, Visual Arts, Performing Arts and Music Industries!

The weekend will kick-off with a dinner and networking reception with alumni panelists and students at the LSRC Dining Hall.  Registration is required.  All students are invited to register for this dinner and networking reception.

Industry specific panels will take place on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. and 3:15 – 4:45 p.m.  Following the panels, all students and alumni are invited to attend a networking reception from 4:45 – 6:00 p.m. where the students will have an opportunity to speak with alumni after hearing them speak on their panel.
