The John Brown Quintet, led by John V. Brown, Assistant Professor of Music and Director of the Jazz Program, recently hit #15 with their self-released album, Terms of Art. Early Release from Residency Requirement for Class of 2010

Facts:

  • Class of 2010 (four semesters on campus) can apply to lottery off campus for Fall 2008.
  • A limited number of students will be lotteried off campus. Final number determined in January 2008.
  • Studying away Fall 2008?
  • Plan to live on campus when you return.
  • You cannot participate in the early release lottery.
  • You will participate in the Spring 2009 on-campus housing process.
  • Decide not to study away after January 25, 2008? You may apply for early release and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Class of 2009: You can still live on campus.
  • Parents and families will be notified of this exception. Talk to them before applying.

Deadlines:

  • Online applications available Monday, December 17, 2007
  • Deadline for online applications Friday, January 18, 2008
  • Notification of status Friday, January 25, 2008

Few Move-Out Update

The Board of Trustees recently approved the renovation of Few Quad. On site work begins Monday, May 5 after final exams.

Graduating seniors and students approved to stay for commencement must move out by Noon, Monday, May 12.
• These students will be consolidated into one section of Few on May 5.
• RLHS will provide moving assistance.
• More details will be available throughout spring semester.
