Emails just went out to people who were assigned.  If you didn’t hear from us yet, it means we either weren’t able to reassign you or there is a hold-up.  We’ll be in touch tomorrow to explain why you weren’t reassigned.

We are still accepting applications for ASSIGNMENT only.  There is a reassignment freeze now until September 15.

The assignment process for first-year students living on East Campus is complete. Students who did not previously have a housing assignment were given one, and reassignments were made, as possible, for those students who requested them. A handful of students who did not request reassignment were moved as part of this process. Every effort was made to keep their new assignment as similar to their old assignment as possible. Moves of this sort were generally made to accommodate the gender balance of the incoming class.
Reassignment requests received after this point will not be processed. Our office has to send assignment information to various other University departments - changes at this point lead to a trickle down of problems as we and other offices prepare for your arrival. We ask that you give your current assignment a shot for a few weeks. We will begin reviewing requests again after September 15, 2008.
